Yesterday I finally gave in and converted to a Mac, my Pc has served me well so far so it's time to see if the mac matches up.
I bought the Macbook pro, even if I dont know all the technical specifics, i think it looks nice =)
Im rather excited as i happened to receive a free ipod touch and printer so i'm pretty sure that the next few days will consist of me trawling through a list of games to play during boring lectures.
The ipod is actually a huge relief as my trusty 2nd gen nano is slowly but surely dying on me.
yep thats about it...

Uni stuff...sort of, but not really
So I've started uni...yay, nothing really exciting has happened to me yet, thus explaining the lack of posts.
BUT tonight i was doing my reading (yeah im a big nerd...but not really) and i discovered two things.
One, the reading required for my course (so far) has been insufferably boring and is the equivalent to chinese water torture...only its being enforced on my brain and retinas.
Actually...the more i think about it the more i think it's akin to the catherine wheel... yeah i'll stick with that. (and not the fireworks...the medieval torture method)
Secondly, that amongst the incredibly boring stuff that graces (what feels like) infinite pages lies (SOMETIMES) a speck of salvation that (almost) makes it worthwhile. For example
"Photography is writing with light"
Admittedly i've never thought about it that way (probably because im not a particularly philosophical person and there's no way i could come up with that myself) but it's true and it's kind of poetic.
So i like it =)
Just thought i'd share before i forget.
